About the Game
Return to Eora in this sequel to the multi-award winning game Pillars of Eternity. You are in pursuit of a rogue god, Eothas, who was thought to be destroyed but is now destroying everything in his path. Your pursuit will take you across the vast unexplored region of Deadfire. Whether trekking across land or captaining your ship on dangerous voyages, you will be met with an enormous open world with infinite possibilities. - You’ll be joined by companions both familiar and new as you journey through the Deadfire. They all have their own reasons for accompanying you whether out of personal gain, a sense of duty or some other mysterious reason. Not only is their interaction with you dynamic but their behavior changes depending on who else is in your party.

- The island chain of Deadfire is host to a huge city, fiery volcanoes, mighty pirates, and desolate sandbars in addition to a bevy of undiscovered areas waiting for your arrival. - Your home base and main means of transportation is your trusty ship, the Defiant. You’ll be able to upgrade it, hire new crew members, and even take it into combat using a dedicated ship-to-ship combat system developed especially for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. Build up enough wealth, and you’ll be able to buy larger, and more impressive ships, too!
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire improves on it’s predecessor in almost every way. The exotic setting, rich story, exceptional writing and voice acting and engaging combat create a game that is one of the best of 2018.
